Werner Mantay was born in 1957 to German immigrant parents in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Upon graduating from the University of Windsor in 1979 he began his career with the then preeminent Arthur Andersen & Co in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Having achieved the Chartered Accountant designation and simultaneously having determined that the public accounting world was just not a lot of fun, he moved into the corporate world in 1982.

After a five year run in various Controller positions with Saft America Inc he left Baltimore, MD to become CFO at INA Bearing in Springhill, SC in 1987. INA Bearing evolved to INA USA Corporation and is now part of The Schaeffler Group.

After the birth of his son Dylan in 1991 and not wanting him to grow up with a southern accent, Mantay relocated to the Detroit area to take over sales (and later engineering responsibilities) for INA's Automotive Division. After a terrific run at INA, Mantay was recruited by Eberspaecher to be its President and establish a North American business for this prominent German automotive exhaust system supplier in 2000. In 2005, Eberspaecher mustered Mantay out of the corporate world.

Today, Mantay is the proud owner / operator of a UPS Store in Sterling Heights, MI and mantay services llc. Mantay brings 25 years of global corporate experience in planning, problem solving and organizing to you.
